At Newstone Global, we work across three core areas of practice: participatory research, learning and training, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL). Across all our work, we use participatory and feminist approaches that centre the knowledge, experiences and analysis of the people most affected by inequality, conflict and injustice.
We recognise the importance of robust analytical frameworks and credible indicators, but we understand them as tools to support learning, accountability and change, rather than ends in themselves. Our participatory lens prioritises collective reflection, dialogue and contextual analysis, ensuring that evidence is grounded in lived experience and responsive to social, political and cultural realities.
For this reason, we integrate learning and translation into practice as a core component of our services. We work alongside partners to facilitate participatory workshops and learning spaces that enable findings to be collectively interpreted and applied, strengthening programmes, strategies and feminist practice. Through this approach, research and evaluation become shared processes of learning and adaptation, supporting meaningful, sustainable impact.
Our consultants are dedicated to strengthening rights-based programming through creative and participatory research approaches, recognising that programme participants must be at the heart of sustainable solutions. All our consultants are supported by a core team of experts in order to ensure that all outputs delivered to all our clients are of the highest quality. We also provide several unique services with each contract:
- Complementary workshop turning findings into practice
- Creative data visualisation and infographics
- In-house digital data collection tools
